My name is Ashley,I live in Florida. I am just starting college.My dad recently just passed away from ALS, or commonly known as, "Lou Gehrig's disease. He has left me and my mom with nothing but a lot of bills,and a house that is literally falling apart. For example, he left us with many hospital and physical therapy bills from all of his treatments. On top of that we are still trying to pay our regular bills, all with only half the income that we had before. Also, our house is in extreme need of a roof. For example,the ceilings are either falling out or starting to crack, and several rooms have already been leaking. this is a pretty miserable situation for us. Due to all of our bills we can't even get a loan to fix our roof, and no one will help us. my mom is currently working insane hrs trying to make enough money just to keep our regular bills paid,and still have money for food,and etc. As for me,I'm an excellent, dedicated student that makes all a's, and has plans for a very successful future. I am planning to become a Dr. of Pharmacy, and Dr. of Nutrtional Medicine. I was susposed to go to the University of Florida, but since my dad passed away I just started at the community college close to home. Mainly because, I didn't really have the money for room and board away from home. Also I felt bad about leaving my mom all by herself since my dad had just died.If anyone can help us please let me know. Any help would really be appreciated. We need to get our roof fixed fast because it is really getting bad!
